Niraj Shah

CEO, Co-Founder and Co-Chairman of Wayfair

Niraj Shah is the CEO and Co-Chairman of Wayfair. Niraj co-founded Wayfair with Steve Conine in 2002 and the pair rapidly grew the business to become the largest online retailer of home furnishings, housewares and home improvement goods in the U.S., generating $12.2 billion in net revenue for full year 2022. Wayfair has extensive operations in North America and Europe and employs approximately 14,000 people. Wayfair's family of brands include Wayfair, Joss & Main, AllModern, Birch Lane, Perigold, and Wayfair Professional.

Before founding Wayfair, Niraj served as CEO and co-founder of Simplify Mobile, Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Greylock Partners, COO and a member of the board of iXL, and the CEO and co-founder of Spinners, which was sold to iXL in 1998. Niraj has been included in Fortune Magazine's 40 Under 40, and has won the Ernst and Young's Entrepreneur of the Year award.

Niraj is on the board of the Massachusetts Competitive Partnership, the Cornell Tech Council, the MIT Presidential CEO Advisory Board, and the MGH President’s Council. He is a former board member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Niraj holds a B.S. in engineering from Cornell University.

Steve Conine

Co-Chairman and Co-Founder of Wayfair

Steve Conine is the co-founder and co-chairman of Wayfair, one of the world’s largest destinations for home furnishings, housewares, home improvement goods and more. Steve leads the many innovations that give Wayfair a technological edge in the online retail business - from the development of architecting software systems to leveraging next-generation technologies such as augmented reality and artificial intelligence.

Prior to co-founding Wayfair, Steve co-founded Spinners Incorporated, an IT services firm. Spinners provided custom application development services to Fortune 500 companies including AOL Time Warner, The New York Times, JP Morgan Chase, and Merrill Lynch. Steve was integral to the development of all technology solutions that Spinners created. He led Spinners to revenue and net income growth of 300% per year while maintaining a 30% net income margin. In 1998, Spinners was sold to iXL, a publicly traded global technology consulting firm.

Today, Steve is a member of the Board of Directors at CarGurus, a leading global online automotive marketplace. Steve graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.

Adam Sinoway

Vice President, Global Supplier Organization

Adam leads the Global Category Management Organization for Wayfair. He oversees the global teams in Shanghai and in Europe, Wayfair Canada, along with Perigold, Castlegate, Supplier Advertising, Supplier Marketing and Global Retail Solutions, that are focused on building tools and technology that support supplier partners and internal Wayfair teams. Prior to his current role, Adam led Wayfair’s Home Improvement business, which he transformed from a fledgling business into what is now a market-leading offering that’s scaling rapidly. Before joining Wayfair in 2013, Adam was part of the New Balance Licensing & Brand Extension team. Adam earned his B.A. from Middlebury College and M.B.A. from Boston University.

Allie Lowe

Director, Customer Loyalty

Allie is the General Manager of Customer Loyalty, focused on building programs that drive and expand customer brand preference. Allie joined Wayfair in 2018, and previously held leadership roles across Category Management, Analytics, and Operations. Before joining Wayfair, Allie advised consumer products and private equity clients at L.E.K. Consulting. She holds a BA from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Corey Gilbertson

Vice President of Platforms, Services & Sales

Corey oversees several Platform Capabilities including Retail Pricing, Competitor Intelligence, Merchandising, Consumer Financing, Loyalty & In-Home Services as well as Wayfair’s B2B & Global Sales units and its Business Trends function. Corey joined Wayfair in 2010 in Category Management and has held leadership roles overseeing Analytics, Product, Strategy, and Data Science teams building core competencies in Pricing, Demand Modeling, Cost Estimation, and Product Assortment throughout the years. Corey holds a B.A. in Economics from Hamilton College.

Fiona Tan

Chief Technology Officer

Fiona Tan joined Wayfair in 2020 and is currently Global Head of Customer and Supplier Technology. She is responsible for driving the continued growth of Wayfair’s world-class Engineering organization while setting the vision and strategy for the development of systems and technologies that shape customer and supplier experiences. In addition, she has a lead role as Chair of Wayfair’s Executive Council on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Prior to Wayfair, Tan served as Senior Vice President of U.S. Technology at Walmart, where she was responsible for innovation and engineering execution. Tan has a master’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Jon Blotner

President of Commercial and Operations

Jon Blotner is Wayfair’s President, Commercial and Operations, overseeing strategy and execution for the company’s global retail businesses, including Marketing, Advertising, Merchandising, Pricing, Category, Physical Retail, Proprietary & Specialty Brands, and its luxury brand, Perigold. In addition to the commercial business, Jon manages the company’s global operations from our supplier relationships and logistics to ensuring excellent end-to-end services for customers. Prior to that, he oversaw the company’s Exclusive Brands and Specialty Retail Brands, which include AllModern, Joss & Main, Birch Lane and Perigold, as well as Wayfair’s global pricing, forecasting, and merchandising systems and teams.

Before joining Wayfair, Jon served as President of Gemvara.com until it was acquired by Berkshire Hathaway in 2016. Prior to Gemvara, Jon worked for Bain & Company in Boston, Mass. He holds an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.

Josh Balaskas

Associate Director, Head Merchant Birch Lane

Josh serves as Head Merchant for Birch Lane, one of Wayfair’s Specialty Retail Brands. He oversees the brand’s merchandising strategy and execution, driving assortment vision and growth. He joined Wayfair in 2022 and has held leadership roles across Curated Merchandising, the Verified Program, and Wayfair Physical Retail. Prior to Wayfair, Josh spent nine years in merchandising across both apparel and home, including experience with the Williams-Sonoma family of brands. He holds a B.A. in Architecture and Business Management from Miami University.

Kareem Ghobrial

Director, Supplier Advertising Sales & Housewares and More

Kareem Ghobrial is the Global Head of Sales for Supplier Advertising and General Manager responsible for the Housewares & More vertical. He also leads several cross-category initiatives, including Wayfair’s branded strategy and the Category Captains program. Prior to joining Wayfair in 2019, Kareem served as Vice President of Sales at Coravin, a fast-growing consumer products company known for pioneering technology that allows wine to be poured without removing the cork. Kareem holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Kate Gulliver

Chief Financial Officer & Chief Administrative Officer

Kate Gulliver is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer for Wayfair, the $12B revenue global e-commerce business. In this capacity Kate leads the Finance, Talent, Legal, Corporate Communication and Real Estate functions. Kate formerly was the Chief People Officer at Wayfair where she was responsible for global human capital management, including recruiting, organizational design, talent management, talent analytics, compensation, and learning and development. Prior to leading the talent function, Kate managed the company's Investor Relations team where she drove all communication and relationship development with outside investors, and led the company through its initial public offering (IPO) in 2014. Previously, Kate worked as an investor for nearly five years at Bain Capital, the Boston based private equity firm. At Bain Capital Kate focussed on retail and consumer transactions, including, among other transactions, the acquisition of Canada Goose, the outerwear brand, Skylark, at the time Japan’s largest fast casual restaurant chain. She started her career in consulting at McKinsey & Company. Kate is on the board of Dana Farber Cancer Institute. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Yale University.

Kelly Skinner

Director, Physical Retail

Kelly Skinner is the leader of Wayfair’s Physical Retail business, where she oversees strategy, operations, and growth for the brand’s brick-and-mortar stores. She brings deep experience in general management and operations across the consumer sector, with a particular focus on tech-enabled companies and startups.

Before joining Wayfair, Kelly held leadership roles that spanned scaling early-stage businesses, driving operational excellence, and building customer-focused teams in fast-growing consumer environments. She is passionate about blending digital and physical experiences to deliver value for customers and sustainable growth for businesses.

Liza Lefkowski

Vice President, Curation, Brands and Stores

Liza oversees all product selection and curation for the Wayfair brand, which includes our exclusive brands and collections, the global promotions agenda and the seasonal vision. Liza is also responsible for Physical Retail across all brands. Prior to joining Wayfair, Liza was a Principal in the Private Equity and Retail practices at Bain and Company. She earned her MBA at Harvard Business School and her ScB in Computer Science at Brown University.

Michael McCory

Director, Curation Strategy and Operations

Mike leads Curation Strategy and Operations for Wayfair overseeing the Verified Program, Curation Planning & Sourcing, Curated Merchandising Ops & Analytics, and our Retail Lab & Photo Studio facilities. He joined Wayfair in 2019 and previously held leadership roles in Strategic Finance and Physical Retail. Prior to Wayfair, Mike worked at a pre-acquisition startup focused on prescription medication affordability. He holds a MBA from University of Texas and BS in Finance from Rutgers University.

Patty Cobbett

Head of Global Partner Support

Patty leads the Global Partner Support organization at Wayfair, providing support and service for Suppliers, Carriers and other partners as they manage their day to day business on Wayfair. Since joining Wayfair in 2010, Patty has held a variety of roles across Operations, Merchandising, and Partner Support. Patty holds a BA in Economics and International Relations from Boston University and an MBA from Questrom School of Business.

Paul Toms

Chief Marketing Officer

Paul Toms is the Global Chief Marketing Officer for Wayfair, a position he has held since 2023. In his role Paul has responsibility for all Brand, Creative, and Media buying strategies for each of Wayfair’s brands across the globe. He also oversees Wayfair’s Sales and Customer Service organizations. Prior to his current role, Paul served as Wayfair’s Chief People Officer for two years, and before that he spent 15+ years leading many teams at Wayfair including Pricing, Supplier Experience, Business Intelligence, Specialty Retail Brands, and Perigold. Paul serves on the board of directors for FastGrowingTrees, the largest online nursery in the United States. He holds a B.A. in economics from Boston University.

Sascha Hower

Vice President, Global Supply Chain

Sascha serves as Chief Global Supply Chain Officer, leading our Global Supply Chain setup end-to-end, including: Castle Gate Forwarding, CastleGate Fullfilment, Transportation (3rd party & Wayfair Delivery Network), Returns and Incidents Prevention & Management as well as Industrial Engineering and Supply Chain Solutions. Prior to Wayfair, Sascha was a partner at McKinsey. He was also the COO at Singapore Post Group and CEO of Quantium Solutions, SingPost's international eCommerce logistics arm. He holds a PhD in Corporate Finance and Taxation from the University of Bayreuth.

Tom Siebert

Director, Supplier Inventory Management

Tom Siebert oversees the Supplier Inventory Management team team and is responsible for ensuring that suppliers realize strong outcomes through our CastleGate offering. Tom joined Wayfair in 2018 and has held several roles including Supplier Advertising, Category Management, and Marketing. Prior to Wayfair, he was a senior manager in Deloitte’s strategy practice where he worked with CPG and retail clients. Tom holds a BA from Washington University in St. Louis and an MBA from Chicago Booth.
